On the one hand, despair and utter hopelessness. On the other, total extinction. What should I choose?

Something which gives you the chance to rise back again.

Probably I sound rude but personally I would prefer total extinction rather than live without hope.

By the way, we are in a state of emergency. Rise to need of the hour. Your presence in our midst is awaited.

Hi

Nice to read Shalini's story...albeit the end was suspenseful. Did she run away? Did she not learn garnering strength from the pigeon or she did...why did she disappear? Or was that her strength to break away from the rote and find her own space..Your style and detailing is commendable/readable (highly)....Damn good.

Compliments

I think extinction is better than mere existence.

Your writings are simply superb. Please continue your good work.“Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?”
God bless you.
